Everdale Prosperity Challenge Round 5: The Carr-Gable Family
Previously on the Carr-Gables: no one died! No social worker came! No one was fired or demoted even. It was a weird four days. Also, Jules became a child. Auralee discovered she was pregnant and eventually gave birth to baby Elke. The ghosts of Efrat and Adanna made appearances. And Auralee kept dreaming of Efrat, her first husband.

Also, last time, Joe got electrocuted fixing the computer. He lived, but now it's time to try again.

Uh oh.

Singed, but alive. Phew.

Auralee still finds him hot.

Jules needs to get on top of the homework. How many kids can the social worker handle.

Oh look...it's newly grown up Gila Hartford running by.

Auralee is very charming with new people.

Then she talks about public woohoo, always a good introductory topic.

Auralee with baby Elke. Then...

Elke grows up!

Auralee potty trains Elke.

Then Elke wanders off to play with her brother.

Joe is promoted!

Auralee teaches Jules to study. Although notice the pile of homework. This will still take some work to get his grades up.

Jules dreams of his little sister. Aww.

Crying baby.

She is awfully cute. She looks like her dad.

Jules continues his homework in the morning...practicing his simlish writing.

Elke and Auralee are best friends.

Auralee teaches Elke to talk too. As long as they are sitting on the floor.

You may recall, that computer still has not been fixed. So...

He did it!!! And no one died!

Aww, cutie.

The nanny plays with fire in the cursed house.

Luckily, that was the end of that. She made a nice desert. The end.

Joe is pregnant! Oh wait, he's just fat.

Grrrr. Why? I dunno.

Auralee tickles Jules. That cheers him up.

Awww, best friends.

Auralee thinks Joe is hot. Joe thinks about his portfolio.

Parent alone time. They are cute.

Elke does not look happy about her bath. That's the same look my dog gives me at bathtime too really.

More teaching of talking.

Maybe it's not too late? I think it became too late when he was taken away by the social worker.

I read on one of my lists that a married in spouse could call in and adopt the kids back. But then they'd be all off in age and stuff. But we'll see.

My first sun burn since getting Seasons!

Jules plays with his friend Orlando.

Elke is potty trained.

Auralee is pretty good with her kids. I guess that is expected for a family sim though.

Jules cries for his grandmother and is mad at his father. He should be mad...what kinda idiot stops eating until he dies?

I just thought this was a cute picture of Jules.

"My grandmother's ghost is behind us. Ghosts are sorta like aliens."

"No, aliens!"

"Who is this kid I've been tossing? Do I know her?"

Apparently the ghost of Adanna has been noticed. You may recall that Adanna is the grandmother of Jules, but she's not related to anyone else in the house. But now they knew her ghost.

Bath time again.

Jules greets Auralee after work.

What's on tap next time? Hmmm...

I did laugh at the face Elke pulled at bathtime - she's a very unique looking sim, cute but different, if you get what I mean. I like this family, and Joe fits in really well. So the computer finally got fixed - way to go Joe, even if you did get a little singed, it was worth it! I look forward to your next update.

I do know what you mean...I'm gonna be very curious how that translates when she grows up.

Also, happy birthday. :)

Thank you - I'd hate to admit which birthday it is, so I'm 21 again!

What a coincidence...I turn 21 again on Saturday. ;)

Happy Birthday for Saturday - hope it's a good one. Being 21 forever sounds like a plan to me!

How did you get a sunburn?! None of my sims have ever done that, so I had assumed it came with Bon Voyage. *is confused*

Great entries! I just started reading them today from your post over on TS2 Challenges Yahoo Group. :D

I think it's from Seasons (as I don't have Bon Voyage). It happened when he was outside playing for a longtime during summer.

And thanks for reading!
