Everdale Prosperity Challenge Round 4: Hartford Family Part 1
Previously on the Hartfords, lots of promotions, but no wooHoo for Jaya. Gila and Mark started dating. More recently, in Round 4 for the Rossiters, Gila and Arlo decided to go steady while Mark found that he really was in love with his childhood friend, Evlin.

I send Arlo and Gila to the park on a date since I'm trying to up her dream date count. And since Mark and Jaya aren't doing much, I send them too.

Mark's first action is to noogie Arlo.

Eventually Gila gets her hands on Arlo.

Uh oh...it's Orlando, Gila's other love.

Gila does not look happy about this.

Umm, Gila that's not gonna make him like you again.

Next she tries apologizing.

Back to the date.

Watch your eyes there, Arlo.

Orlando is still unhappy with the situation, although at least he's stopped the physical violence.

Meanwhile, Jaya has zero toward her LTW to woohoo 20 sims. So she needs to meet people.

Hmmm...not a good start.

Of course, everything goes well with Goopy.

Yeah yeah...everyone thinks Goopy is hot. Yet no one gets him a better outfit.

Woah...too forward with the Goopster.

Brandon thinks Jaya is hot though.

The next day...

They're so cute.

Jaya did manage to get a date lined up with Goopy.

She wants to marry Ahbjeet!!! Wow! She went on one date with him back in Round 1! Also she's a romance sim...why does she want to marry anyone?

Despite her love for Ahbjeet, the date goes well. Maybe woohoo one day.

Later, Gila goes on another date with Arlo.

I don't remember what this gift was, but it also could have been a bland tomato.

After Gila gets home...

HEY ORLANDO! He doesn't look so thrilled.

She's lost her crush on him...thought that woulda happened when he hit her in the park.

"Being with you is like being in prison."
Then he goes home.

In non-dating news....

Gila continues with her gardening...and get a bronze badge.

And Jaya keeps working out to get more promotions.

Mark decides to ask Evlin on a proper date and takes her to the art museum.

Already thinking about babies, Mark?

Yay! They're going steady!

Mark and Evlin are very close.

A great date and a cleaning skill point! Excellent.

Mrs. Crumplebottom looks unhappy though.

Ooo, leave her alone, Mrs. Crumplebottom!

Back at home...

Jaya invites over Ahbjeet.

Get engaged to Ahbjeet!

Ya know, while playing this, I didn't take this too seriously...she needs to woohoo 20 sims, she can't get married. But now reading back...if a romance sim wants a committed relationship I shouldn't deny her, huh? We'll see how it goes next round. Anyway...

First woohoo! 19 to go!

In another sim mystery...Jaya had kissed mystery sim before this...but has no memories of woohoo. Yet she has two children. Interesting. Her ex musta been such a prize she blocked him out.

And they're in love!

Elsewhere in the house...

Evlin's come over. She plays chess with Gila.

Then she hangs out with Mark.
"Don't touch my face!" Okay then.

Orlando steals an invisible newspaper. But before he gets away, Gila invites him and the invisible newspaper in.

Well this is going well.

Uh oh...this could get violent.

Yeah this isn't good.

So Gila invites him to sit down. Notice Orlando is still holding the invisible newspaper.

Why the mean face at Jaya? She never did anything to you.

Yeah, he deserves it.

Let's try the hot tub.

Even the splashing went well.

No hugging though.

Before Orlando leaves, Gila  thinks about marriage. Notice that Orlando is still holding the invisible newspaper.

At this point, I think I need to break up this entry. So next time, will Jaya woohoo 19 more sims? Will Orlando start kicking over the trash can? Find out soon!

What is with romance sims who want to get engaged and married? I'm having the same problem, and I just don't get it! Anyhow, Jaya finally got to woohoo - Yay! Orlando is not happy, but then without university, the relationship was never going to be long term, so Gila's not really lost much. Your teens certainly know how to noogie - I've never really seen sims do it before - is it autonomous, or do you get them to do it? Another great read, thanks for posting!

The noogie-ing is autonomous...I dunno what it is with these two and that!

Seriously, sometimes I almost start to suspect some sims have a soul or something. They behave completely different from what their stats say, and they do it over a long time. One of my early townie teens had me convinced he was an outgoing popularity sim, but when he got to college so I could control him, he was a shy fortune sim. I find these special sims make the neighborhood more interesting.

Also, glad to see Mark and Evlin together!
