Everdale Prosperity Challenge Round 3: The Hartford Family
Previously on the Hartfords: Gila had some successful dates. Jaya continued to have failed dates. Mark continued his friendship with Evlin Rossiter. Then he aged into a teenager with a desire to start his own family.

Jaya inheirited money from Adanna Gable. Poor dead Adanna.

Gila calls over Arlo Rossiter for another date.

Kissing makes them best friends.

Lotso Gila and Arlo date spam.

Then I think I hit the wrong button.

Cuz I don't know what happened there...but they seemed okay with each other after, so I guess no damage done.

Snow day! Also here's a view of the whole house. It's small.

Yay! Snow day!

I decide snow day should be date day. So Gila calls Arlo.

A photobooth picture. And then...

And then...

They're so cute.

Back at home...

Mark wants to get started on finding a wife so he can have babies. And it didn't look like he and Evlin really had any chemistry in their teen years, sadly. So I had him call the matchmaker.

Ooo, who will it be?

After his date arrives (I'll keep you in suspense a few more pictures), I let Gila get a date too...her life goal is 50 dream dates, doesn't have to be with one guy, right?

A guy named Mervin (I think, but let's call him Mervin regardless) falls from the sky.

So back to Mark, his date is...

Meadow Thayer.

Mark talks to her about engagement. She says she's looking for a strong guy.

Don't hug me, weakling.

Gila thinks Mervin is totally hot.

Snowball fighting is a great way to spend a date.

Followed by warming up inside with some smustle.

Gila really lays the charm on.

Then resorts to her normal interaction with others.

In the middle of this, Jaya gets home from work. I think it's time to upgrade the bed.

Mark decides to chat with him mom in the new bed. While Meadow is still there. Real classy, Mark.

Mervin says his turn on is formal wear. "Give me one minute..."

"Do you like what you see now?"

He likes it.

Crushes begin in her mother's room while she's laying on the bed reading.

Mark's date ends and he gets his first kiss. Awww.

"Yo, don't touch me scrawny."

Apparently kissing is okay, but hugging is not. Notice that Gila's date continues in the background.

Apparently Gila also subscribes to the kissing is okay, but hugging is gross philosophy.

They're cute though.

Interesting that Mervin has no wants having to do with Gila.

Soon after the dates...

Ummm...you just left the house, Meadow.

Jaya needs body skill for her next promotion, so Mark works out with her.

Another promotion for Jaya! (And good job for Mark too.)

Wow, that carpool driver is really disgusting.

Apparently Jaya likes gossiping about those Rossiter kids.

Mervin calls Gila for another date that night.

Apparently Mervin doesn't like having food thrown at him.

But apparently the date goes well anyway.

Watch your eyes there, Mervin.

Awww, best friends.

Don't smush him, Gila.

The next afternoon...

Jaya gets another promotion!

Jaya has a friend from work. Mark invites over Meadow who brings a friend who throws the ball way too hard at Gila.

Mark has taken socialization lessons from his sister.

They do okay anyway.

I have Gila start a garden. Also, notice that Meadow's want is to be friends with Woody Rossiter.

And the final event of the round:

Next time: Will Jaya ever woohoo? Will Gila pick between her men? Is it really a good idea for Mark to get involved with Meadow?

Round 4 is already happening!

heh. ya why not? I mean seriously. if you dont have Uni, they can't age with them anyhow.. so let the teens have all the fun!
I feel bad for the mom. geez, she gets nothing but promotions.. which in its own right is a good thing but she needs some lovin!

Mark and Meadow would make a great couple - she's always been family in my neighbourhoods, so they'd probably end up having 6 kids or something.
Jaya is doing great with the promotions, but will she ever get a man? She even brought a woman not a man home from work!
Gila's doing well getting some of those 50 dates in while she's still a teen.
I'm a bit sad Evlin and Mark didn't work out - I thought they were a surefire match. Growing up ruins plans sometimes!
Thanks for sharing another post.

I think I have developed a strong dislike for Meadow when she dated one of my teens in another neighborhood, they were in love and all over each other, then she rejected him for going steady! But I guess if Mark likes her, I'll let him for now.

Every time I've had Meadow involved with one of my families, she has turned out to be either gay or bi. I've never had her interested in a male.
