Everdale Prosperity Round 16 Gable Family
Previously on the Gables, the three kids got into private school. Brianna became a teen. Aaron and Orlando started going steady. Ivy got a few promotions. Jules won a cooking contest.

Brianna Gable, teen, fortune sim, LTW: become hall of famer, 10 neat, 5 outgoing, 10 active, 4 serious, 6 nice, OTH: science
Aaron Gable, teen, family sim, LTW: become education minister, 9 neat, 7 outgoing, 9 active, 3 serious, 1 grouchy, OTH: sports
Ivy Gable, adult, knowledge/pleasure sim, LTW: become a space pirate, 9 neat, 2 shy, 6 active, 3 serious, 5 nice, OTH: science
Jules Gable, adult, family/romance sim, LTW: marry off 6 children, 9 neat, 7 outgoing, 9 active, 3 serious, 1 grouchy, OTH: sports
Charlotte Gable, teen, knowledge sim, LTW: become criminal mastermind, 5 neat, 2 shy, 9 active, 3 serious, 7 nice, OTH: sports

Family Sunday!

I love family Sunday.

In the middle of the afternoon, Brianna gets home with a promotion, reaching teen TOC.

Brianna is grossed out by her parents. Cousin Skylar seems unphased.

Aaron asks Aunt Elke for permission to go out. She says no. I've never seen a parent say no. Maybe it is because Aaron and Elke had virtually no relationship.

Aaron takes it out on cousin Kirtland.

Family Sunday ends with a joint birthday party for Ivy and Jules.

Pretty good.

Ivy gets a new elder look. She likes it. At some point, I'll get her new clothes too.

Then she gets a promotion.

Charlotte finishes her picture of the cockroaches.

Charlotte brings her new friend Geffrey home from school. I love shy sim flirting.

Geffrey thinks it's totally hot that Charlotte is unemployed. That may not last forever.

Yay Aaron!

Top of teen career! And now birthday party (and anniversary party) time!

So apparently Simon and Bishop flirted and are now in love. Fantastic. Is Bishop really fortune?

Aaron is an adult.

Aaron grows up his boyfriend Orlando as well. Orlando is a pretty good looking adult.

Aaron serenades Orlando while the rest of the party smustles.

The party is a success.

Aaron chooses popularity as secondary, which is really out of character. Then he moves out, to start his own house next round.

For a big house, not so much happened.

Here's a question, experienced Simmers.  I installed Uni and then realized maybe I should have waited until the round. So I did not associate a university with Everdale yet...and from my brief look in, it seems that my teens don't yet have university related wants. Can I play through Round 16 without associating a university and not upsetting any of my sims? Then I'll install before I start Round 17.

In the meantime, I'm sending all of the Pleasantview teens to Uni.

I can't remember if I have tried playing with Uni installed without associating a campus, but I would assume they would start rolling the wants anyway. For instance, with Bon Voyage installed, they would roll wants to for an island vacation even though I did not have any such vacation spot associated. And they would roll pet wants before they had ever actually seen a pet. So I am surprised to hear your sims don't have Uni wants or fears yet. Please keep playing without associating a campus and tell us what happens!

I'll let you know!

In BaCC you cannot have a Uni associated from the beginning. The sims will cry over not being able to go the rest of their lives (at least Fortune and Knowledge sims, the others get over it)
The refusing to let a kid go out, I feel is associated with the mood of the parent (like IRL :))

Hmm...if there's too much crying, I might have to send them to Uni before the end of Round 16. But I'll try to hold off.

I love family Sunday too... I wish i had the patience to do that in my hood... although I've started sending sims on outings more often, heh. Good luck to Aaron and Orlando, they're both handsome alduts. Also, Ivy looks great as an elder, she barely looks like she aged at all. I can't wait to see your kids at uni when you decide to start sending them.
