Everdale Prosperity Round 15 Rossiter 3 Family
Previously, blond-blue Woody and Allyn gave birth to a red-haired brown-eyed boy named Sasha. Woody maxes out aspiration benefits. Sasha grow up into a mean toddler. Allyn is fired. Woody is promoted.

Allyn Rossiter, family sim, LTW: reach golden anniversary, 4, sloppy, 4 shy, 4 lazy, 7 playful, 6 nice, OTH: nature
Woody Rossiter, popularity/family sim, LTW: reach the top of the music career become education minister, 6 neat, 3 shy, 6 active, 4 serious, 6 nice, OTH: tinkering
Sasha Rossiter, toddler sim, 10 neat, 3 shy, 9 active, 9 playful, 1 grouchy

Allyn teaches Sasha to walk. He's a quick learner.

Allyn gets a new job...and is quickly promoted.

Second LTW for Woody!

Sasha's birthday!

Notice Whistler, Sasha's uncle behind them. Sasha has exactly his uncle's coloring: tannish skin, brown eyes, red hair. Interesting.

Sasha as a child

Allyn the family sim is ready for more kids.

Except she also fears having a baby.

Can Woody get Allyn pregnant since he's an elder? I think he can, but it seems like it's not happening.

Allyn helps Sasha with homework.

Silver pottery badge for Woody! I guess he will spend the rest of his life working toward the gold badge.

Speaking of, Woody invites over his friend Mark Hartford to give him a gift.

Snow for Sasha.

Woody and Sasha go out for dinner.

Yeah, clearly not much happened this round. Just a lot of random pics. Next!

Male sims can father babies as long as they live, but females must be 6 days from elder, I believe it is.

For some reason I've almost never brought the kids along to community lots. Looks nice! Perhaps I should begin doing that too.

That's how I deal with them when I'm bored...usually on a weekend afternoon or something. Sometimes they make a friend while out and about. Or sometimes it fulfills a want.

Sometimes rounds just happen that way...random and not much story-related happening. I agree with j68, though...I never take sim kids to public lots. I usually wait until they're teens and send them by themselves, and the elders by THEMselves. I think it's because those community lots take so darn long to load, I try to avoid them.

This house was pretty slow, so I needed some variety...thus, the outing. In busy houses, I'm usually too flustered to bother.

Hey, I didn't comment yet, lookinhereyes ;) I know it's easy to confuse us Scandinavians, though :D

Haha, oops! :X You're such a good commenter, and I see you around so often, I guess I just put in a name that was most familiar to me! My apologies to itlandm_sims. I am not so observant sometimes, as evidenced by my habit of sometimes calling some of my own sims by the completely wrong name. My fingers get in a habit, and my brain fails to correct them. :)

The sims genetics are strange sometimes. Red and blond is equally recessive it seems (if you get one blond and one red gene, it is a 50% chance for either colour). The same, but opposite is valid for darkblue and brown eyes - equally dominant

It's still strange seeing Woody, the perpetual bachelor, as an elder... and even stranger seeing him with a young family. I hope Allyn is able to at least get another baby to preserve the Woody legacy... I'm pretty sure it's possible, I've seen it in other blogs.
