Everdale Prosperity Challenge Round 10: The Carr Family Part 1
Previously on the Carr family (which was called the Carr-Gable family), Jake was re-adopted. Elke started dating Ricky Cormier. Jules died, but Auralee saved him. Then Jules continued his relationship with Ivy Copur. They both grew into adults. Jules then moved out with his siblings Elke and Zeb. Also Stuart became a child and Bishop became a teen.

Bishop Carr, teen, fortune sim, LTW: become a space pirate, 10 neat, 10 outgoing, 9 active, 3 serious, 1 grouchy, OTH: fitness
Joe Carr, adult, fortune/pleasure sim, LTW: reach the top of the adventurer career, 6 neat, 5 outgoing, 8 active, 3 serious, 3 grouchy, OTH: sports
Auralee Carr, adult, family/knowledge sim, LTW: marry off 6 children, 4 sloppy, 7 outgoing, 8 active, 3 serious, 3 grouchy, OTH: music & dance
Jake Carr, child,  7 neat, 4 shy, 1 grouchy, 8 playful, 5 nice, OTH: cuisine
Stuart Carr, child, 8 neat, 5 outgoing, 9 active, 3, serious, 3 grouchy, OTH: sports

Auralee fears having a baby. Yet, I have got the bright idea to go for the impossible want of having 10 kids. She's already got six. What's four more?

Woo!

It's okay Stuart. It's only the first day of school.

Oh look...Jake brought home Duncan Rossiter. Too bad Jake smells too bad to be good company.

Joe is promoted! And repelled by the smell of Stuart. Those kids need to start bathing.

Time to get these three into private school.

Uh Jake...we're trying to make a good impression.

Well that's better.

Notice that Stuart is bored silly.

Joe has more success shmoozing.

So the headmaster goes to congratulate Auralee who is asleep. Why do they always go for the one that's asleep?

First day of private school

Adoption time!

Justine is back! In retrospect, I probably shoulda held off on the headmaster for another day.

Awww, the social worker looks so sad! She musta become attached to Justine. Despite allowing her to go to night clubs and such.

Then the mad look.

As with the other triplets, Justine inheirits money from her grandmother, Adanna.

Yeah, don't touch me, man. I don't know you.

They later bond over bball as sports is the OTH for both of them. Also what happened to Justine's hair?

Oops. Turns out, it doesn't matter.

Auralee is promoted, Bishop picks up the trash, Zeb stops by...a regular day at the Carr house.

Justine greets her long lost triplet Zeb. She wasn't so fond of Jake to begin with so that's less of a reunion.

But later Justine and Jake chat about grilled cheese.

Hey Ted, whatya up to?

What, why? Ted's not even that mean.

Justine reunites with her mother Auralee over burnt hamburgers.

Three more kids? Hmm...maybe maybe.

Oh by the way, Bishop is bi.

Stuart asks his big brother Bishop for homework help. Bishop ain't bothering with that. So Stuart gives up and plays basketball.

I guess that wooHoo took.

Birthday party time!

Oh look, Aimee Hartford is here.

Joe is becoming an elder. Jules thinks about adoption...maybe followinng his mother's plan of having triplets, losing them, and adopting them back.

He's pretty sharp looking.

Joe's best friend Amin ages along with him.

Joe gossips with the headmaster about how Elke got into private school. Yeah, that makes sense.

Smustle! Justine looks a little possessed.

Uh oh...Efrat is out.

Guess he got Justine mid-smustle.

Justine is tired, Efrat the ghost is hungry.

And Auralee dreams of Efrat, years after his death.

Part 2 yet to come...there are too many people in this house to keep it short.

Nice to see Justine back - will she be a wild child since she's been spending time out on the town? I felt sorry for her, burnt hamburgers and possession by her dead Father. Must make her real happy to be home ;)
What is with the social worker being mad - I've never adopted much, so I only noticed it in my game a couple of days ago?

I only noticed the mad social worker with this family...so I thought she was mad she was bringing the kids back to the family that neglected them in the first place. But I'll have to look more carefully in the future.

Wow, Joe an elder! He looks good. You raced right passed me, my Joe is just 30-something.
Must mean I´ve got too many houses. Or too little time to play. Or all of the above.
Rachelreksims on May 20th, 2009 01:15 am (UTC)
That must be it...you've got a lot more houses than I do at this stage. As far as time to play, I should have less than I do...or, I should use less than I do. Heh.

Welcome back Justine!!! The boys look very handsome in their school uniforms and Joe makes a very good-looking elder. As for Bishop being bi -- I think all sims start that way until they begin performing romantic interactions with one or the other gender. Once he starts dating he'll gain points for the gender he is involved with and lose points for the opposing gender -- I could be wrong though.
Rachelreksims on May 22nd, 2009 04:29 am (UTC)
Actually, I think it's an ACR thing. I try to run the gender preference randomizer whenever I get a new teen. I think without that, he'd be a 0 for both genders...so essentially bi, but more of nothing.

So we'll see what direction he goes in! Or if he does both! (But since he's fortune, not romance, he'll probably stick with one.)
