Everdale Prosperity Challenge Round 9: The Rossiter 3 Family
Last house of Round 9!

Previously on the Rossiter 3 family, Whistler developed romantic relationships with both Christy and Marylena and had a family-friendly relationship with his niece, Marjorie. Woody fell in love with Zelda. They were robbed, but nothing was taken. And a few promotions were received.

Whistler Rossiter, popularity sim, LTW: be a celebrity chef, 6 neat, 3 shy, 6 active, 4 serious, 6 nice
Woody Rossiter, popularity sim, LTW: reach the top of the music career, 6 neat, 3 shy, 6 active, 4 serious, 6 nice

Woody continued dating Zelda.

It's going well.

They went on proper dates too.

Dream date...and cleaning point...excellent!

Meanwhile, Whistler does some skilling. Then he invites over Christy, who brings a friend.

This is how Whistler asks the friend to leave.

Now he can focus on Christy.

Zelda came by later that night.

Oh well, sorry Woody.

Oh good...Whistler finally has an interest in his nephew. Gotta be fair with twins, you know.

Whistler also chooses pleasure as a secondary aspiration. That works well!

Promotion for Woody! Yay! Looks like it's been a hard day at work.

The chance cards are not good to Woody.

And a promotion.

To celebrate, he goes on another date with Christy. She wants to marry him. It's not mutual.

The date continued well...but no marriage or engagement desires.

Is the issue Christy or just Whistler's fear of commitment? Let's see...

Try another girl and maybe get another result?

She wants to marry him too. Whistler is hot stuff.

And he wants to get engaged!

Well then...

Whistler looks confused about what just happened.

Damn, she's poor.

Uh oh, Christy is calling. Where's Whistler?

Oh there.

Back to Woody and Zelda.

Ooo, maybe both brothers should become engaged.

Zelda, Woody, and Marylena find that Brandi Letourneau really annoying.

Time for some private time in the hot tub.

So much for private time. Who invited Mrs. Crumplebottom?

Ooo, they both want to get married.

Woody prepares to propose, but is interupted by a vampire who decides NOW is the time to chat with Zelda.

Eventually Woody loses his nerve and talks to the vampire about kissing.

And now Woody wants to talk to his high school girlfriend, Meadow. Great.

A friend of Christy invites Whistler downtown. Should he be hanging out with Christy's friends? Sure, why not?

And Christy is there. But it goes well.

Hey it's ME! I put me in Everdale as a townie. I also kicked people out of the sim bin and made them townies too by the way. You may see them around.

Woah, those are glitchy glasses.

This house is tiny, so since Whistler is engaged, it's time for him to move out. Maybe Woody will eventually be brave and propose to Zelda and then they can live in the little house together.

End of Round 9!

Next in Round 10: I have been doing 4-day rounds, but I decided to make Round 10 a 6-day round...I didn't feel like I was getting enough Freetime play.

Also I seem to be accumulating a lot of family sims with a LTW of marrying off 6 children. What happened to the days of "captain hero"?  So for my entertainment, I've decided that in these families, the fourth child will be the "bad apple" meaning I won't control the child from birth until adult hood and won't look at their needs, etc. This will only apply to families that do not currently have four or more children (in other words, the Gables are safe).

What else? I decided that secondary aspirations will be chosen on entering adulthood. I guess that's it! There are eight houses next round. Getting long fast.

Somehow the Whistler and Woody update was often my favourite of the round - it's almost sad to see them seperate. They were a great double act.
I like your idea for future rounds - the 'bad apple' will make updates interesting for sure.
I think it's an achievement to get to the end of round 9 - well done, and keep going!

Thanks! It's sorta sad to see that all five Rossiter kids are in different houses now...but I guess that is how life works too, huh?

Well, they won't be marrying off 6 children if there is one you neglect. The social worker takes them all, including the A+ students. Of course, they could have 6 more children and marry off those, but it seems a lot of extra work.

Yeah I may regret this experiment quickly. But I will give it a try for now. I'll just have to make sure a parent or teen is available for homework help OFTEN.

If all else fails, another child can do the neglected homework. In fact, some will roll the homework want both in the afternoon and in the morning, but this is rare.

Good luck, and keep writing! ^_^

Just what I was thinking...I need one really geeky child to take care of the bad apple.

And thanks!

Wow that's a lot of cameo appearances - Crumplebottom (did anyone get beaten with the purse?), the Count, and Rachel! Yay! How do you townie-fy playable sims?

I wonder what Marylena has that Christy doesn't? Hmm... It will be fun to see Whistler in his own house but sad too since these brothers are very fun together. Woody better propose to Zelda soon, they would make really pretty kids I think, plus he's going to be lonely next round.

I'm excited to see how the Bad Apple experiment works out. How do you plan to get their homework done? Also, I think you'll find 6 day rounds enjoyable -- 7 (what I play) is sometimes too long and tedious and 4 seems a little too short. Though I can't believe you get so many pictures in just 4 days!!! I'm considering shortening my rounds to 5 days starting in Round 8 so I look forward to seeing how you enjoy 6.

I think there are multiple way to townify, but I think I specifically used the teleporter shrub at simlogical. You can find here:

Looking at the list, I probably used the teleportershrubplus, but I can verify that when I get home.

As for homework, I assume I will need a parent (or older sibling) to "help" with homework routinely. And if that's not working, one of the other kids will have to do it for the bad apple (thus choosing the fourth kid).

Depending on how many social worker visits I have, this experiment may not last long.

And how do I get that many pictures? I am too afraid of missing everything! I really need a sense of priorities...not everything I get a picture of is important! (And actually I narrow down A LOT before posting.)

And I'll be interested to see how you like 5 day rounds too. 7 always seemed too much to me, but maybe I'll come around after I've done 6.

If you do the "Bad Apple" ISBI style, you can still control him/her by influence, and help with home work of course. My ISBI kids are A+ private school pupils with a lot of hobby points

And it really IS you appearing :)

LOL I love that look on his face after he gets engaged. So confused!
