Everdale Prosperity Challenge Round 9: The Rossiter 2 Family
Previously on the Rossiter 2s, Gila gave birth to twin boys, Graham and Duncan. Oh boy...twins for two pleasure sims. Also Gila got into the garden club, but no wishing well. And Evlin stole their rooster statue.

Arlo Rossiter, pleasure sim, LTW: have 50 dream dates, 6 neat, 3 shy, 6 active, 4 serious, 6 nice
Graham, baby
Gila Rossiter, pleasure sim, LTW: have 50 dream dates, 4 sloppy, 7 outgoing, 8 active, 3 serious, 3 grouchy
Duncan, baby

Gila looks so happy to hold that baby, huh?

Gila works in the garden, right before the twins' birthday party.

The guest list is entirely Rossiters and Hartfords.

The guests arrive.

And Aimee starts jumping on the bed. Someone needs to teach that girl manners.

Relatedly, why is there no "lecture" for children jumping on beds? She could fall off and break her head.

Okay birthday time!

Wow, three angry looking Rossiter brothers. What's their problem?

Arlo helps Duncan blow out the candles.

And Gila helps Graham, who looks sorta whiny. Or perhaps, joyous.

Duncan! He's the one with black hair (from his maternal grandfather who has not been seen) and brown eyes (from his dad) and is a little overdressed for a baby's birthday party.

And Graham has BLONDE hair???

Explain me this: Gila should have a brown hair gene and a black hair gene...which she obviously does cuz she has brown hair and Duncan has black hair. Arlo should have a red hair gene and a blonde hair gene. So shouldn't all babies have either brown or black hair???

Anyway, he also has his Mom's blue eyes.

A peak at the top half of their personalities. Two active boys they have. That'll be fine...once they are not toddlers.

I think Duncan is a cutie.

There he is with Auntie Evlin who really should be family, but is actually pleasure/grilled cheese.

Graham opens his present.

He got one of those logic thingamajiggies.

Duncan gets a teddy bear.

Arlo fears having an accident at a party. Ya know, that's not something I fear cuz i feel pretty confident it will NOT happen!

Then again, Melissa Fancey having an accident at a party was serious gossip in Everdale.

Auntie Evlin plays with Graham. I hope she doesn't drop him. That is really too high a throw.

The toddlers take naps, I really hope their cousins Ted and Marjorie don't wake them.

The party ended up a success. Moving on...

Gila and Arlo choose secondary aspirations. Gila chooses popularity...that's easy enough. Arlo chooses knowledge. Not what I would have selected for him, but we can work with that.

Arlo talks about how nice the family reunion was with Jaya while Graham screams.

Duncan bonds pretty quickly with the activity table.

You may recall (if you remember way too many details, but let's pretend) that I predicted Duncan would be the troublemaker.

Yeah I was totally wrong.

Here he kinda looks like an angel. A little blonde angel. Was he adopted?

I was wondering if they'd ever get that statue back.

She got it! Woo.

See? It's Graham.

One of the rare times that Duncan is screaming while Graham is just chilling.

Arlo takes Duncan out of his crib and they become best friends.

And then the same for Graham! Doesn't take much sometimes.

This is the kid who refuses to go on the potty. Oh well, at least they're best friends? Hey, where is Duncan going?

That's right...to the potty.

Graham eventually does get potty trained.

This picture could be on the box that the activity table comes in. So parents would see it in the store and think "oh my kids would love this, look how cute those boys are."

Gila tries to teach Duncan to walk. Doesn't get very far.

Gila likes sports.

Wow, time flies.

It's rough having two toddlers. They always want something.

Arlo likes tinkering.

Well of course Duncan is crying. The nanny put him in the wrong crib! Oh and his teeth are coming out of his chin.

Oh well. But she had no body skill points (or at most 1) and she doesn't need them for this job.

See? It's irrelevant.

Hey! Elke's stealing our paper!

Gila bonds with Graham a bit.

Then tries to teach him to walk.

It doesn't work. Both boys were potty trained and learned nothing else. This was the fastest toddler-dom I've ever had.

Birthday time!

He is totally cute! He will make pretty babies.

Meanwhile, Graham grows up away from the cameras.

But he does okay.

In fact, both boys grew up sorta okay.

The boys eat their cake.

Duncan doesn't make the rest of the party. Graham can't look. Gila and Arlo don't notice..

Graham enjoys some dancing since he's not nearly as tired.

By the way, I anticipated that they would grow up and need more room. So I built a second floor. Unfortunately I ran out of money while making it. So it's barely decorated and missing some walls. But at least the boys can have their own rooms.

The police broke up the party! It's a kids' birthday party!

True story: the police came to shut down my brother's bar mitzvah. This tells you more about our neighbors than his bar mitzvah.

Duncan is already in bed. Which is better than on the kitchen floor.

The next day...

Kamil comes to yell at Arlo for spying on him. In the process, they become best friends.

After the first day of school.

Oh the pleasure sims have to get in at least one dream date in this round.

They're so cute.

Woah, Gila got fat. Maybe she did need those body points.

Gila discovers a star!

Graham discovers his love of games.

Arlo, stop dreaming of your mother-in-law! Not gonna happen (probably)!

Next time: will there be more dream dates? Will the boys do their homework? First, the Rossiter 3 house (the last in Round 9).

Strange with Sims genetics, but I discovered too that the black hair is not always dominant.

(Annika and David Lind has brown hair despite both their parents have black hair)

So if Graham got a blond gene from his father and a black from his mother he'll have the black as a recessive (not likely to happen IRL, but you never know)
