Everdale Prosperity Challenge Round 9: The Carr-Gable Family Part 2

Continuing from Part 1.

Jules does well. Zeb gets a chance card...what will happen?

Oh well.

After school and work at the Carr-Gable house

Auralee rocks out.

That Jake is still the devil. Don't let him fool you.

Never mind...Joe and Jake decide to smustle it out.

Zeb is still a good big brother to Stuart.

Even tries to teach Stuart to walk...doesn't go so well though.

Auralee has a little more luck.

Birthdays are coming.

Elke goes on another date with Ricky.

Evlin was there too...eating her lobster alone.
She is always pregnant...she really was meant to be a famly sim.

Evlin gets another plate of lobster and leaves without finishing it. So after her date, Elke grabs it.

Jake is forced to share the room with the baby. Fortunately for him, he had already gotten most of a night's sleep anyway.

Oh remember, Joe is a secondary pleasure sim now...this is SO out of character.

Stuart notices a ghost about. Joe is too busy jumping on the couch.

Joe finishes jumping on the couch and finally succeeds in teaching Stuart to walk.

Apparently Jake thinks Joe is supercool.

Chance card for Jake...

His grades drop??? This is the kid who attracted the social worker with his bad grades! We can't let him have Bishop and Stuart taken away!

Well I'm not sure what his grades dropped from...but apparently they dropped to an A+. I won't worry too much anymore.

Birthday party time! Stuart is first.

Oh wait...Bishop runs to greet his Daddy after work.

Okay back to Stuart's birthday...although apparently the smustle has begun.

Bishop: "EXCUSE ME! I want MONEY!!!"

Can we let the poor kid grow up now please? Enough with the interruptions.

He's grown up...hey Jake, whatya doing?

He is throwing out the cake! No one has even eaten the cake yet!

This birthday party is not going as planned.

I just thought I'd show Stuart and Bishop together...they are full siblings, but look pretty different. The noses in particular.

Jules birthday!

And he grows up before he gets to the candles. Into a suit. Meanwhile Elke thinks Jules and Stuart smell. And Bishop isn't having any fun at all. But the party score is "Good time".

I've decided they can grow up a friend (or more) if they are best friends. For Jules, that is just Ivy, his girlfriend. She looks pretty good as an adult.

And last...Bishop's birthday! And Jules really smells.

Dumb outfit...we can fix that though.

Bishop chooses fortune. That's okay I guess. He finds charismatic people totally unattractive.

I've decided from this point forward that teens will get one aspiration. And they can get a secondary aspiration when they become adults...if I see fit.

Bishop chooses to grow up his friend Orlando.

Well despite a bunch of unexpected details, the party went well.

A close up of Jules...cuz I've always thought he was pretty good looking. I will get him some more casual clothes though.

Apparently Orlando and Ivy enjoyed the party too.

That night, Auralee has another dream about Efrat, her first husband, father of Jules, Zeb, and Jake (although not in that order).

Apparently Joe has been spying on Kamil. Why does everyone spy on Kamil? Anyway, Joe fights back.

Elke can't bare to watch.

Awww...Elke ran up to her room and started sobbing! She is very sensitive for a girl with 1 nice point!

Now that Jules is an adult, it's time to get some people out of the house. I have him take Elke and Zeb, the oldest of the remaining siblings.

Elke is so upset, she doesn't even bother to get dressed before moving out.

Time to get Justine back! The last of the stolen triplets.

Next time: this house will become the CARR house. The house that Jules etc move into will become the Gable house. They'll start Round 10 too. In this house, a new family member will arrive. Anything else? Hard to say yet. I'm hoping someone gets another promotion or two.

Justine is finally coming home - YAY!
I had to laugh at Jake's grades dropping to an A+. I wish that kind of drop in grades happened more often.
As usual an event packed and very amusing update.

And yeah that grade dropping really was something...a new bug perhaps?

Hm - no Uni for Jules?
And grades dropping from a chance card, I've never seen that! Lucky no disaster happened.
That Bishop is quite somthing, huh? Cleaning off his brother's cake without anyone having a bite from it, and never happy. Hope he'll be better now when he's older

Nope, no uni for anyone...don't own that one yet.

Aha! I thought I was the last one on the planet to get Uni. I have owned it in 6-8 months!

I got into Sims 2 so late...so I'm getting eps in the order they seem most fun. We'll see if I ever get to Uni. I think Freetime will keep me entertained for many months to come.

Alright! The Gables get their own house! That makes sense.
Rachelreksims on April 30th, 2009 08:40 pm (UTC)
Jules is actually the only Gable...but I figure the new house will be his and he can kick out his siblings as soon as they grow up and he starts reproducing (being that he's a family sim).

This family is definitely my favorite (although Evlin and Mark are a close second!) I can't wait to see the gang all back together. Uni is nice because when the house gets too full you can ship off the teens and get some extra room. While I enjoy university play and the opportunities it presents, I know some simmers despise it. I'm glad you're liking Freetime -- I think it's my favorite EP too!

Interesting this family is your favorite...I guess it's getting so big that I'm finding playing them very hectic. Then again, they have overcome a lot.
