Prosperity Challenge Round 1: The Gable Family
The Gables move in.

The house is plain and has virtually nothing in it. There will be two working adults and a stay-at-home grandma, so they'll be able to upgrade soon enough right?
Yeah, this was not a good plan.

The family arrives. Zeb runs in.

Everyone is a critic. At least you have a phone! You should be upset when you see only five sleeping spaces for six people.

Grandma and the kids talk inside.

While Auralee and Efrat greet the garden club lady.

The welcome wagon includes Jocelyn Florez and Jaya Hartford!

In brief, Efrat got job in the legal track, lost it due to poor job performance, then got the job back. Auralee got a job in the music industry. Adanna didn't work. She also slept during the day as they couldn't afford enough beds for everyone.

Getting three kids who are living without toys and chairs to do homework was tough, but Zeb and Justine both had A+'s by the end of the week. Jake however had not yet completed his homework any day by the time he left for school on Friday.

What will this lead to in Round 2???

Current Music: Something suspenseful

Well at least they have jobs, and it's not so important to have wallpaper, right? 5 beds for 6, now that is tough! The first round is always abit boring, as there's no sense of community or the individuals personalities, but it'll get better. Well done on getting through it!

The first week, keeping the Social Worker away is the one big thing. Having succeeded in that, you have every reason to feel accomplished. There will be time enough later for your families to get rich, to gain skills and friends and career and money and build a thriving community. The first days is all about keeping the kids, say I.

woot you survived!
meh, broke families w/ kids.. buy a silly flamingo for about 10 simoleans and have the kids kick 'em. they love it and its fun for them. thankfully if you have the newer EPs skipping rope is fun for them too and that costs nothing.

Ooo, good suggestion about the flamingos. A little late for this family, but I'll keep it in mind for next time.

Agreed....flamingos is best for bored kids. So is doing red hands with each other. ASimWen from TS2 Challenges.
