Previously on the Carr 3s, Marjorie was fired from her dream job of Rock God. She then goes on a date with Goopy. Bishop comes back from work with a promotion to top of career and gets his LTW, but finds his wife that he's recently reconnected with on a date. He kicks her out. The next day, he calls Demi Louie. They fall in love, she claims to be rich, so he proposes. Soon after he invites her to move in only to find out she's not rich. Bishop finds a job in Oceanography.

Previously on the Cormiers, the twins recovered from their devastation related to the death of their grandmother Auralee. But then they learn some skills and happily grow up into children. Elke catches Ricky cheating...again. But eventually she tolerates him enough to keep him around. The headmaster comes and all three kids are admitted to private school. Elke is promoted to the top of the music career, achieving her LTW. Ricky is then fired from his job. Skylar was around.
